Airshows Downunder Shellharbour is a two-day carnival of aviation with something for everyone. It will showcase the best of modern defence force aircraft, civil aerobatics performers, restored historic and warbird aircraft and ground displays, with two action-packed days of flying and a wide range of aircraft on the display program.

The Careers Day on Friday 1st March will serve a dual function for students, either by inspiring career choices or confirming career direction through access to industry professionals and aviation career advisors.

A major event such as Airshows Downunder Shellharbour could not exist without the ongoing support of an army of volunteers. Our Volunteer Family comes together every two years to be a part of this exciting and rewarding event.

We are excited to welcome new, and returning volunteers to register for Airshows Downunder Shellharbour, 1-3 March 2024.

• Careers Day 10am-2pm Friday 1 March 2024.
  • Arrival between 9am-10am
  • Departure between 2pm-3pm
• Students must be in Year 9 or higher.
• Advanced learning students including TAFE and University Welcome.
• Students must be accompanied by school supervisors and parents, who are responsible for behaviours.
• Items like drones, kites, frisbees and footballs cannot be brought onto the site.
• Food and beverages available.
  • An appropriate amount of cash/card is recommended
  • Students are welcome to BYO lunch/snacks
• Please secure all loose items and place rubbish in bins provided.

Each year, car clubs from NSW and ACT are invited to display their vehicles at the event and add to the atmosphere created by the historic aircraft on display and in the air. Meet the owners of some of your favourite vintage vehicles and chat to passionate car enthusiasts.

Representatives from a range of classic vehicle clubs promise that this display will be a huge spectacle for all motoring enthusiasts featuring both cars and bikes. Vintage, veteran, classic and modern classic vehicles, and commercial vehicles will all be represented.

As you wander you will appreciate the time, effort and cash involved in bringing these cars, bikes and utes to life, so make sure you stop and have a chat to these passionate owners who are always more than happy to talk about their pride and joy.

The Airshows Downunder Shellharbour weekend will provide a fantastic mix of classic aircraft, cars and bikes from a by-gone era ensuring something for every enthusiast.

• The driver of the vehicle will receive an exhibitor badge to access the show, free of charge.
• Any passengers in the vehicle are required to purchase event tickets.
• Event tickets will not be available to purchase at the vehicle entry gate. We strongly recommend pre-purchasing via our website.
