We are celebrating our 10th birthday next year so will be re-imagining the 2024 event to present the biggest and best festival ever staged and to do this we have relocated to Victoria’s most pet-friendly venue at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
The Festival will be overflowing with puppy love as dog enthusiasts from all corners of Melbourne, Victoria and across Australia descend one what will be one of the grandest dog-dedicated festivals in the world on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October

Pet Projects International Pty Ltd (PPI) as the Organiser of the Dog Lovers Festival (DLF), along with the Venue are committed to providing an environment that is safe and healthy for the venue, event staff, contractors, members of the public, exhibitors and their animals.
The Organisers (PPI) do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage, financial or otherwise, resulting from any incident (including injury to persons or animals) arising from any animal interactions during the DLF.
It is a mandatory requirement that all persons bringing dogs to the festival, must read, fully understand and agree to the Animal Management Plan and Dog Handlers Responsibilities & Obligations (DHRO) or entry will be refused. DLF will be uncompromising in enforcing the conditions and rules outlined in the AMP & DHRO
If your dog does not cope in stressful situations or you do not know if the dog you are bringing to the event is capable of coping, it must not attend.
