Purchasing Information

Delivery of Your Tickets

  • Your tickets will be delivered electronically via email. (E-tickets)
  • You can then print these or bring them on your phone or tablet to the event so we can scan you in at the door.
  • We will send you your e-ticket as soon as you complete your purchase

Processing and Credit Card Fees

  • If there are any processing or credit card fees, these will be calculated and shown to you during purchase.
  • If there is $0 or no value in 'Fees' column or fields, that means there are no fees applicable to your purchase.

Refund and Returns

  • Refunds and returns are covered under the policy of the Event Organiser, and do not limit your rights under Australian consumer law:
    • All transactions are final. No refunds are permitted, except as required by law.
    • In the case of an event cancellation, refunds will be provided to patrons who have purchased tickets for the cancelled event.

Security

  • All transactions with us are protected using 128-bit SSL encryption to ensure the security of your personal information and credit card data.
  • All payments are processed directly with Stripe and none of your credit card details are stored on our servers

Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information is being collected to facilitate your purchase and to allow entry to the event.
  • Your information is shared with the Event Organiser, to enable them to communicate to you regarding the event.

Opt-In

  • By selecting "Yes, please contact me to arrange a test drive", I consent to Lüp to provide my details and contact information to a third party (eg motor vehicle dealer) to contact me to fulfil my request.

Competition Terms

By answering “Yes please, and keep me up to date on specials, events and promotions with Lüp Rewards” you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the competition being conducted by Ematter Technologies Pty Ltd ACN 093 085 977 trading as Lüp and Lüp Tickets ABN 27 093 085 977 of Suite 1203, 200 Mary Street, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia

Disclaimer, Terms and Conditions

By entering your details you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.
By scanning your QR Code at any exhibitor, you are agreeing for your details to be supplied to them and to their Terms and Conditions. (See exhibitor's stands for more details)

Definitions

(a) "web" or "web site" or "site" means the system or database on which the personal information is stored; (b) "You" or "your" means Lüp Pty Ltd (c) "I", "my" or "me" means the person who has entered information into any electronic form on a site (d) "information" or "personal information" means any information entered into any electronic form that is provided that may identify a person (e) "Show" or "Expo" means the event for which you registered 

General

  • I confirm that the information I have entered is completely accurate, and in particular I have taken care to ensure that my email address is correctly entered.
  • I agree and consent to my personal information being utilised for current and future competitions, draws, lotteries and promotions by the promoters and exhibitors of the Show.
  • I agree and consent to, for promotional purposes, you providing the information I have entered into any electronic form on your site to entities/businesses attached, related, affiliated or associated to the Show, including but not limited to the Event Organiser, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers.
  • I agree that by my entering into any competitions at the Show, that I agree and consent to my personal information being utilised by such competition for the competition purposes and the promoter of the competition and authorise the publication of my details as they relate to the competition.
  • I agree that you will not be liable to me, except in the case of fraud, for any act or omission (whether negligent or misleading or deceptive or otherwise) by you in the performance or purported performance of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
  • I indemnify you against all claims, except in the case of fraud, arising out of or in any way connected with any act or omission by you in the performance or purported performance of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
  • I agree that liability on your part or on the part of your servants or agents for damages for or in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with the relationship established by this agreement or any conduct under it or any orders or instructions given to you by me , shall not in any event (and whether or not such liability results from or involves negligence) exceed $50.00.
  • I agree that by my entering information into any electronic form on your site, that I am agreeing to the terms and conditions herein and to the Disclaimer.

Tickets issued by the Ipswich Show Society Executive Committee (‘The Committee’) are subject to the following conditions:

These Terms and Conditions may be varied at any time. Any variations become effective on the day immediately after their publication on the website and apply to any purchases made after that date.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

TICKETING

  • Tickets are only valid if they are issued by our event on LUP “Ipswich Show 2022” hosted by LUP or through the Ipswich Show office. Tickets not issued through an authorised point of sale entry will be refused.
  • Prior to purchasing a ticket through the LUP website, you may be required to register for a user account and to nominate an email address and password for your account. You must maintain the confidentiality and security of your user account (including your password) and not provide it to any other person.
  • Please treat your ticket as you would money or other valuables. Do not share your ticket barcode, it may prevent your entry if it is duplicated.
  • All ticket purchases are non-transferable and may not be resold, packaged or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods and services, without prior written consent. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of these conditions, the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission, or other action taken, without guarantee of a refund. Entry may also be denied if tickets are not purchased from an authorised point of sale.
  • Patrons with an Official Companion Card as defined by the Australian Government, accompanied by a Carer, pay Concession price and their Carer receives free general ticket admission. Companion cards must be presented at the Gates to gain entry with the companion card ticket.

ENTRY

  • Opening hours are
    • Friday 13th April 9:00am – 9:00pm
    • Saturday 14th April 9:00am – 9:00pm
    • and Sunday 10th July 9:00am – 6:00p
  • Ipswich Show Society or their designee, reserves the right to deny admission to the Show to any person holding a ticket that appears to have been tampered with, counterfeited, defaced or duplicated.
  • Entry may be refused if the ticket buyer does not obey all government regulations regarding the event.
  • Photo ID may be required for age and name verification.
  • It is a condition of entry to the Ipswich Show that all bags/containers may be subject to a full search at the time of entry to the venue. Refusal to consent to a search WILL prevent entry to the Ipswich Show, without refund. Any prohibited items found will be confiscated and not returned.

GENERAL

  • The daily program for activities within the Ipswich Show is provisional and subject to change as necessary without notice due to adverse weather conditions or other operational reasons. The right is reserved to cancel, withdraw, postpone, relocate or reschedule activities and there is no guarantee of viewing any or all scheduled activities.
  • Whilst at the Ipswich Show visitors are responsible for the security of their own property. Visitors are reminded not to leave bags or packages unattended at any time.
  • Images of the Ipswich Show taken with a camera, mobile phone or other wireless device cannot be used for any purpose other than for private and domestic purposes, without prior written consent of The Committee and payment of any imposed fee. Images cannot be sold, licensed, published or otherwise commercially exploited.
  • Making or distributing of broadcasts, commentary or news reports by any means in any format or media including any such commentary made by mobile phone or other wireless device is not permitted without prior consent of The Committee.
  • Entering the site to make political statements or unauthorised protests will result in you being removed from the venue and being referred to the Qld Police Service.
  • Visitors consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded as visitors to the Ipswich Show and consent to the use of any such film, image or recording at the discretion of The Committee.
  • We reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.

RESTRICTED & PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the comfort and safety of visitors, staff and volunteers the following items are not permitted to be brought into the Ipswich Show:

  • Alcohol,
  • Amplification equipment,
  • Animals, except service animals, such as certified assistance dogs & police dogs, approved
  • Exhibitor entrants are allowed on grounds.
  • Dangerous goods or any other item prohibited by legislation,
  • Distress signals,
  • Drones (includes items also defined as UAVs or RPAs by the CASA rules).
  • Fireworks, frisbees and helium balloons,
  • Illegal substances,
  • Glass,
  • Large flags, musical instruments (unless by prior consent),
  • Laser pointers,
  • Unauthorised advertising material, banners or flyers,
  • Vehicles of any kind including bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, (except wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs & mobility scooters), skateboards, and roller blades/skates,
  • Whistles or loud hailers,
  • The Ipswich Show is a non-smoking venue. Visitors are only permitted to smoke in designated areas within the show grounds.
  • Adults must not leave dependent children unattended. All persons under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

ALCOHOL

  • The Show (including all parts of the venue, including parking areas) is conducted in accordance with an appropriate Liquor Permit. Persons seeking entry to the show are advised that:

Checking procedures will apply to prevent persons possessing liquor from entering; Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter;

Intoxicated persons will be removed from the Ipswich Show;

All patrons wishing to consume alcohol in the designated areas must have a photographic ID;

It is an offence for minors to purchase or consume alcohol;

It is an offence to sell to or supply minors with alcohol;

Liquor is only to be consumed in the permit areas;. Persons supplying alcohol to minors will be reported to police;

Penalties apply under the Liquor Act and Regulations.

PUBLIC SAFETY WARNING

  • Visitors may experience some aspects of the Ipswich Show that are potentially hazardous including activities associated with close proximity of cattle, horses and other animals, uneven and potentially slippery surfaces and loud noises. Many areas of the Ipswich Show are exposed to direct sunlight and heat. Visitors are required to take appropriate care of their hydration and sun protection.
  • The Committee does not take responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage however caused, including any negligence (but not gross negligence), breach of duty,
    default or omission on the part of the Committee’s staff, volunteers, contractors or agents.
  • You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the Event by you or your invitees.
  • Appointed Officers of The Committee reserve the right, with reasonable cause, to refuse entry to any person or remove any person from the Ipswich Show without any entitlement to a refund and in compliance with the Tort of Trespass, Council regulations and State and Commonwealth statutes.

PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY

All attendees of Ipswich Show must commit to stopping the spread of COVID-19.

  • All attendees of the Ipswich Show must follow the instructions of the current Qld Health Public Health Orders
  • Comply with Social Distancing requirements.
  • Utilise the hand sanitiser stations throughout the venue
  • The primary ticket purchaser agrees that they nor anyone in their group will attend the event if, at the time of the event, they are unwell or subject to a self-quarantine or self-isolation period.
  • The ticket holder agrees to additional contact tracing on the days of the event by methods provided by the promoter such as a check in app if required as part of a Queensland Heath directive.

REFUND POLICY

  • Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind, make a purchasing error or make a wrong decision
  • No refund or exchange will be given on any ticket except as required by law.
  • If the event is unable to proceed on the advertised date or location by Government order, the Ipswich Show Committee reserves the right to reschedule the Event and offer a credit or exchange to the rescheduled date or offer a refund request window of 28 days. In the event of the cancellation in advance of the event, we will provide a refund.
  • The Ipswich Show is an “All Weather Event”, except in such case of a “Force Majeure” defined event or an act of violence, The Committee would cancel the event. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
  • There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Show.
  • In the event a refund is provided, we will provide a refund less an amount to cover the cost of ticketing.
  • Refunds will be processed via the LUP platform.
  • The refund or exchange will not apply in the case that the relevant circumstances were known to you and/or the relevant booking party members prior to the ticket purchase; and will not apply in the case that you and/or any of the booking party members attend the event and are refused entry, or asked to leave.
  • Ticket is issued and when scanned is no longer valid for re-entry on that day. An armband must be obtained for re-entry on the given day.
  • Armbands will vary each day.
